Voter Registration, Outreach and Education
The Voter Registration Committee implements the organization's Voter
Registration (VR) and Voter Education (VE) Programs.
Goal: Increase FilAm participation in the voting process.
Objectives:
• Increase VR & VE activity in the FilAm community throughout the county
• Increase FilAm voting in (under-represented) precinct(s).
Strategies:
• Develop a calendar for VR & VE drives and publicize,
• Obtain relevant voter registration materials from Registrar of Voters or other
sources for distribution or use.
• Obtain, analyze, and establish/maintain database concerning FilAm voter
registration and voting data.
• Identify vulnerable areas and develop VR, VE, & V strategies for such areas.
• Develop metrics to monitor progress of FACE VR efforts and FilAm community
VR.
• Organize voter education and “get-out-the-vote” drives (outreach) in various
areas of the county.
• Develop bilingual VE materials.
• Develop a youth component in VR, VE, & V and actively engage them.
• Conduct neighborhood VR & GOTV campaigns in under represented areas.
• Organize teams in target areas.
